  Hubby and I are planning on visiting in mid/late February to check out things for future retirement plans. Any recommendations on where to stay? Not looking for fancy resorts. Hubby and I would like to meet locals and other expats to learn more and check out as much as possible. Also where would be the best place to fly into and should we rent a car or find other type of transportation? Thanks for your advise.
