On a side-note one can never guarantee the removal of a stain, there are various factors to be considered such as the type of stain, type of material, how long it has been on the material and also remember that the couch or carpet is second hand as such.

After mopping thoroughly i can feel there is still water between the laminate and the cement floor under squishing thru when i walk on it. After googling i see the shop vac is recommended.
