My advice was to hire a tour guy that can take them safely, maybe someone they can talk to and find out if it's safe to go or not. Can you guys recommend someone who's honest and reliable?   Anonymous Jeremy is extremely knowledgeable and more than that he is charismatic, I have seen him work with numerous groups in Jerusalem who have all had a great time with him and learnt about the history of Jerusalem.
