  I'm looking for recommendations for some healthcare professionals, as I'm new to the area. Looking for a general physician, psychiatrist or at least someone who specializes in mental health, and a therapist. I am okay with physicians assistants and nurse practitioners, and have actually liked them better in the past as they tend to be more patient focused. I have looked around a bit, had a few bad experiences, and am hoping for recommendations from people who would know! My biggest concern is finding someone who will take as much time as needed and will listen non-judgmentally. Ideally I would stick in Bremerton, nearby to home (Manette). Any ideas?

  Try Lutheran Social Services (www.lcsnw.org). They have mental health services and charge on a sliding scale (last I heard). Depending on your insurance, you might check with The Doctors Clinic. They are all over Kitsap County and also have at least one urgent care clinic. I know that's not a specific name but they have a lot to offer. For example, you might like a DO instead of MD. You might click with someone at the clinic, and if not, could easily switch to someone else within the clinic.
