  I have a kitty that has a history of Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (or formerly known as FUS and FLUTD, feline lower urinary tract disease.) I have been feeding him Science Diet Urinary SO on the recommendation of our vet for the last year or two, but at $57-$63 for a 17b.bag, the ingredients just don't seem that healthy for that price. I am willing to pay it if it keeps him healthy but is there anything else out there that would prevent him from getting a reoccurrence AND have good healthy ingredients?? Does that exist? Anybody have any personal experience with a certain brand of food that worked well for your cat with no reoccurrences? (Also need to note: He does NOT like wet cat food...we've tried, but I did also get him a water fountain drinking system that he loves, so that's a plus.) I've also included a picture of the ingredients of the food he's eating, so you can see what I'm talking about...
