  Hey. I retired back in the day on a disability just before my friend Tom Smiley. I found out that on 7-1-14 the city changed my insurance benefits, thus breaching our contract. I have recently spoken to an attorney to whom Tom referred me to, but they redirected me to the union. Does anyone know who I need to contact and how I can contact them? I would appreciate any information you could give me.

  There is a web site for the retire health questions. saginawretireesllc.com. To answer your question on the BCBS changes on7/1/14 Your plan stayed the same except for the prescription Drug plan. You no longer have to submit claims to BCBS for reimbursement and your druggist submits for their refund. At the time of purchase from now on you will only pay a co-pay of $10 or $5 or less depending on your plan. I hope this helps. Are you on Medicare?
