About us
Tucked away down this leafy backstreet, Madam Guesthouse fills the gap in the market for cheap, silent, fan-cooled rooms. As a converted house, staying at Madame has a very homely feel, requiring guests to share their lobby with the family kitchen. Corridors and staircases are small to say the least, and it's up to the individual to draw the line between cosy and cramped. Rooms at Madame are good for the price; clean and quiet, with little chance of disturbances from the neighbours. The shared bathrooms are pour flush and cold water only, but are clean and functional. For the lucky few, pretty balconies and good views can be found, but otherwise guests can relax on the Thai style benches out the front. Madame is a good alternative for backpackers, particularly those hoping to avoid the bright lights of the city.
Anyone know a cheap place to rent for a week? Budget is 300 or less per night. Preferably with AC.

I have stayed here many times over the years, it is clean and quiet and very good value, like 280 per night! Private room, shared bath/shower. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Madam-guesthouse-bangkok/586826564694902
