  I need a new (not rebuilt, my mechanic specifies) carburetor for my 1961 (F)ord Falcon. The original engine was a 144 but it was swapped out for a 170. I'm not particularly car savvy (yet!) Can someone please point me in the right direction? The only thing I seem to have come up with are Holley rebuilt carburetors.

  Www.classicinlines.com otherwise known as ford six parts. They offer brand new holley clones, problem is you have to replace distributor too. By the time your done you'll be into it for about $500 just in parts.
