I'm in need of a service dog for my son. His neurologist highly suggested one for his seizures. How can i get more info on getting one for him?

I would suggest you take a look at our website: www.ecad1.org and look under the Programs & Services tabor email our Client Care Manager at clientsupport@ecad1.org. Sam can help you with any questions you may have about the process of obtaining a Service Dog.
If there is anyone that has any recommendations or referrals for "therapy dogs" for elementary child-client with PTSD please PM me :)

There is a actually a fundraiser in reading this week for a mom who is trying to raise funds to get a service dog for her son for "psycho-social" reasons, so sounds like it could be in the same realm. The organization she wants to use is ECAD, hope that helps! http://www.ecad1.org
NYC Iraq vet looking for a service dog trainer Hey neighbors, I'm an iraq war veteran that has been coping with PTSD since returning home in 2004. Despite the years that have passed, I still have persistant issues. The VA has helped a great deal but sometimes it's just not enough. I have a dog already, he's my best friend and we share a deep trust. I would love to have him be my service dog for PTSD... Does anyone here know of any service dog trainers or local NYC organizations that help veterans in this matter?

Try contacting ECAD: [ecad1.org](http://ecad1.org/default.htm) They train dogs and then place them, so it's not exactly what you're looking for, but I bet they'd be open to helping or at least pointing you in the right direction. They have a good program for veterans and PTSD.
