  Im looking to rebuild the Carter WCFB carb on my 55 new yorker and I used to buy my kits at the Stowe Vermont car show as he always had Made in USA kits ( I was told) I though I had a kit around but can;t find it. I started the car for the season and its backfiring and not too happy so I wanted to pull the carb and clean it out but also wanted new gaskets as its been like 8 years so its time I think. I also checked the timing and the only marks on the harmonic balancer are the ones from the re builder about 9 years ago and there is one line ( TDC I would guess) and a dot on each side and the arrow is between the lower dot and line. anyone know of a place to get a good overhaul kit and any advice I will take.
