Is there anyone on the island who does the window stickers (for want of a better word) which make your windows look frosted? Want to stop passers by noseying in without losing light.
Naomi S. replied:
Not a local company but I used www.purlfrost.com for a window sticker, not a frosted one but they do those too.
I'm considering blinds or shutters on the bottom half of my windows as an alternative to horrid net curtains. I guess they will have to be bespoke, any recommendations for a good company? Can't afford to spend the earth
Olivia F. replied:
We had the same problem but decided to go for a frosted film to go on the bottom half, it still lets in 90% of light and can be ordered to size. You can either go for plain (which we used on our windows) or patterned (which we used on our victorian front door). Really easy to apply (with water and washing up liquid) and can be removed when you want. Works brilliantly for us and was really economical. Have a look http://www.purlfrost.com
