  I am new to the group and the proud new owner of a 1970 Trans Am .... its been almost 20 years since I owned a 1976 Firebird. I am looking for a mechanic in the Redmond/Bellevue general area who could go over the car and mechanically check it out with me, particularly go over the engine and tune it up. The car is in fantastic shape but a previous owner replaced the cam, intake and exhaust manifolds with Ram Air IV parts ... it runs ok but I think the timing may be off as I get a final chug when I turn it off and I had to adjust the idle speed up as it almost wanted to stall out when stopped in drive.
