ABOUT US:
The Dog 'Spaw is a home-based, upscale grooming salon that is dedicated to bringing you a large array of professional styling options for your pet. Our salon is designed with an authentic 'Spaw atmosphere that looks like it is for people, but it is in fact for pets. Also, we are very proud to be the 2ND SALON IN WESTERN CANADA to own an Electric Ultralift grooming tub. This allows us to specialize in grooming ANY SIZE OF DOG, LARGE OR SMALL!!!
About Us:
The Dog 'Spaw is owned and operated by Award Winning and Nationally Certified Professional Pet Stylist, Andrea Empey. She was trained 10 years ago by one of Canada's most highly decorated groomers and International Grooming Judge, Miss Shaunna Bernardin. Andrea has 5+ years of pet grooming experience.
In the last couple years, Andrea has began the process of becoming a Canadian Canine Master Stylist through the Canadian Professional Pet Stylists association (CPPS). Andrea has passed all of her exams is now only one exam away from achieving Master Stylist. The purpose of these VOLUNTARY exams is to test one's skills against a strict code of ethics, and once passed, to be recognized as a professional stylist throughout Canada.
Recently, Andrea has also began competing in a few local grooming competitions and has earned several placements from that as well. Andrea is always striving to learn more about her trade and is excited to bring her award winning grooming services to Moose Jaw!

-Modified Pet Trims (teddy bear trim, lamb trim etc.)
-Hand Stripping for harsh coated breeds
-Basic Clip Downs
*-Bath & Blow Dry
*-Bath & Tidy
-Professional De-Shedding Treatments
-Ear cleaning
-Ear Plucking (by request only)
-All Natural, Eco-Friendly Shampoos & Conditioners
-'Pawdicure (nail trim done with dremmel for a smooth finish)
* Only available to dogs that are on a bi-weekly bath schedule.
