Have you ever been curled up on a couch, waiting for a loved one to get their freshly baked cookies out of the oven? Have you ever just sat back and watched your spouse get ready for the day, thinking about how lucky you are that they chose YOU? Have you ever come home from work to your child running up to the door and squeezing your leg because they are too excited to give you time to put your stuff down and pick them up?
Have you ever felt so loved that you, literally, feel like your heart will burst out of your chest?
THAT is exactly the feeling I want you to have when looking at your portraits. I want you to remember what it's like to love — to love so deeply, that you think you couldn't love or be loved any more.
I want to capture the way your fiance looks at you when he thinks you aren't looking. And they way he naturally kisses your forehead when your close. I want to capture the real smile your child gives when they are telling you a joke and waiting for you to guess the punchline. I want to capture the essence of who you are, so that when you look back on your portraits, you feel the love you felt that day.
You see, it's not about poses and locations (although we know all about those too!), it's about finding out who YOU are, what you're about, what makes you laugh and capturing THAT it in a portrait that you can hang on your wall to cherish forever.
I not only want you to LOVE your products from me, I want you to feel that "heart jumping out of your chest" feeling every time you walk past my portraits in your hallway.
And that's JUST what I intend to do — to love. I want it to literally SPRING out of you, into my lens, and on to your wall for you to enjoy.
