  Washing machine repair? I have an integrated washing machine that isn't working. I've got an engineer due to come and look at it tomorrow, but their call-out fee is £40, which is waivered if I decide to go ahead with any repair work that can be done. I've never had to call out an engineer for anything like this before, so I'm not sure if that's a good price or not. I'm worried that the engineer will just tell me it can't be fixed, then I'll have to pay the £40, plus the cost of a new machine, which I can't really afford right now. What do you think? Is £40 reasonable? Can anyone recommend anyone cheaper? Many thanks in advance.
