I had work I needed done before I moved in and because of time constraints I had to use a contractor I knew and didn't have time to check other contractors in Monticello. After I moved in, there was some work by the previous contractors plus some additional work. I called different contractors in Monticello and the only one that responded was Dean. He came out, reviewed what I wanted done and presented a quote that was more reasonable. He completed the work in a timely, professional and friendly manner. My new neighbors had him do some work on their house and they couldn't be happier and their job looks great. If you're looking for a contractor in Monticello, IA, don't bother calling anyone but Dean Stevens Construction. I wish I had known about him when I had the initial work done. He's the only one I'll use in future.
