About us

Since its inception in 1931, First Baptist Church has had a desire to see the lost won to Jesus Christ both at home and overseas. This has led to local outreach programs and planting of three new churches in the greater Waterloo area on the one hand, and to the supporting of missionaries and missions projects both at home and on the foreign field.

Today, First Baptist Church is a diverse congregation with people of all ages and from many different nations and ethnic backgrounds. It is affiliated with the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches in Canada and is an autonomous, self-governing New Testament local church.

First Baptist has a day camp in July you can call 519-886-6530 for details. Day trips to great places, sports time in the gym, swimming etc. Great time for kids
