  Looking for some hotel/motel recommendations in Nashville, TN... Wondering how getting around on bike is, and how secure parking with a trailer in tow will be. Could camp as well, as long as we're not too far out from area. Plan on spending a 3-4 days in the area.

  Hotels downtown Nashville are ridiculously expensive, but that's the price you pay if you really want to stay downtown. Murfreesboro is okay but a bit of a trek from downtown. I would personally recommend staying in Brentwood, Franklin, or Bellevue. I live in Bellevue where you have the wonderful Loveless Cafe (http://www.lovelesscafe.com/) and the Natchez Trace Parkway (http://www.nps.gov/natr/index.htm). If you decide to go to Loveless Cafe on the weekend, be sure to get there between 7-8 am; otherwise, you will be waiting at least an hour. Also, unless you have a better deal, use Priceline.com to book your hotel and you may save a considerable amount of money.
