  YAY FOUND SOMEONE!!! THANKYOU EVERYONE! - original post : Please Please help! I need a local seamstress to work some alteration magic on a bridesmaid's dress for a wedding on Auguat 8th. It's a size 12 and needs to go to a size 4. I can not return the dress, and not enough time to just order a new one. I am afraid to just walk into a shop blindly since I only have 1 shot. There has got to be a mommy or a good witch or a beautiful gypsy aunt out there somewhere who has done this kind of sewing voodoo before ? Please send contact info if you have used someone before.   Try the Eden creative sewing center. They always have someone that can do it.
