  Any suggestions? We saved a horse from a horrible situation last November. He was absolutely emaciated. The guy who trailered him (from outside of NYC) said he wouldn't live through the month. Many of his teeth are missing. (We were told that he collapsed in the middle of a lesson and struck his head - knocking out his teeth.) We have since put weight on him - but he's not an easy keeper. We also had the vet check him and learned he has cushings. Frosty would lmake an excellent pasture pal for someone. He loves to be with other horses. I really need to find a home for Frosty or a reputable rescue for him. Any suggestions?

  Patty - You are 100% correct. We took Frosty because he was in such bad shape AND b/c the other people who were also there to look at Frosty had never owned a horse before and had absolutely NO clue. He would have gone from bad to worse. He was so skinny he couldn't even stand someone trying to brush him. Any help you can give us in finding a loving home for Frosty would be fantastic.
