  We use the Mackay Veterinary Hospital. The doctors are amazing. Last year on a Sunday at 6.00 pm - we found our beloved Ragdoll cat unconscious in our driveway. We rang the after hours number and spoke to one of the practices three amazing vets who was on call that weekend. Having never met us before, he dropped everything and rushed to meet us at the closed surgery - he was there within 20 minutes of us ringing. Unfortunately there was nothing that could be done, as it turned out out beloved TC had been shot. He could have left it at that and gone home. But no, without us even asking or knowing, he stayed back that night to complete an autopsy, so that we could take it to the police the next morning. He truly understood our pain. Since then, whether just a sniffle, upset tummy these guys have been simply amazing to our remaining pets. They truly care. Oh and their admin/nursing staff are just as brilliant. http://localvet.com.au/Mackay/
