  Hi all. For those that are interested in proper broadband internet please check out vumatel.co.za. and go to the page to show your interest in obtaining a high speed fibre connection. Vumatel is a fibre to the home provider. If we can get enough people in our suburb interested, the company lays the fibre optic ring for free. A connection point is placed on the boundary of each home. There after the individual can choose to subscribe. Fibre can get you speeds of up to 100 mb per second. Also,if the fibre ring is installed, it makes it easier to install CCTV cameras to monitor the area. Parkhurst has gone live with their connection. Let's get Melville next on the list!!!

  there are no wifi service providers. there are however two fibre providers and then quite a few internet service providers that can provide you with a device to do wifi in your house. http://www.vumatel.co.za http://www.fibrehoods.co.za although they are the same company, two different set of technologies. one is aerial fibre and the other in the ground. of course, if you already have internet at home (via fibre) and only needing proper wifi to reach all of your house, that is just hardware your current provider should be able to help you or companies such as dial-a-nerd
