  She can catch the Galveston City bus on campus across from the Valero Service station...The bus stop is on campus. It has a black shelter. Ask the driver how often they come on the island. Ask for a transfer also. That way she can transfer to any bus that takes her where she wants to eat. This is the only number I could find and it keeps giving a busy signal Island Transit
