  Are there any VW-specialist garages or independent mechanics in the High Wycombe/South Bucks area that'd be able to help with diagnosing an issue involving the engine management light appearing on the dashboard? I believe that this light can correspond to many different possible engine issues that can only be found out when the car's engine computer is plugged into a special code reader that can diagnose the issue. I've tried Citygate already who wanted £50 for a generic diagnosis. If it's supposedly as easy as reading a code off the engine computer then this cost would seem a little extortionate in my view.
