  Massages and treatment for pain are very different - your friend should seek medical advice - doctor can refer for physiotherapy or similar. A physio may not be able to treat effectively until their pain is under control so they should really go to the GP as an emergency in the first instance anyway. We have appointments available tomorrow lunchtime then into the evening www.ashberryphysio.co.uk
