  Robert, I'm an attorney (from Jasper, Alabama). Sorry for your loss. Our biking community has had far too many of these lately. Anyway, I would recommend any good personal injury attorney would be fine for you. You do not require someone who "specializes in bike law" in a situation like this. Negligence of the driver is the key here and any good personal injury attorney will be well versed in this area. Good luck to you and yours.

  So last night @ the corner of Morgan & Fayetteville, I got rear ended by a cab. Real sore, broke tooth, trashed rim at least. I was fully lighted, helmeted and following the letter of the law waiting for a car in front of me to go thru the light when it changed. He was looking at people on the sidewalk. Can anyone suggest a lawyer? Heading to the hospital this morning.
