  As Skyler and I continue to research treatment possibilities for James, we remain open minded and hopeful. With a baby on the way, we know there are new opportunities with the babies umbilical cord and stem cell therapy. We are just having a difficult time finding any reliable sources to help guide us. I figured I would reach out the the 40,000+ people on here and see if anyone has any information on who, what and where we can do this. Please know that we will go ANYWHERE on this earth. We are also looking for an EXTREMELY reliable umbilical cord storage facility (again, this can be outside of our country). You guys have been so helpful to us thus far and I'm hoping someone has something that we haven't been able to find on our own.

  We banked the cord blood for our oldest son. We chose AssureImmune LLC. We went with this company because they were based right here in Boca Raton and because we physically we able to tour the facility and speak with the scientists and see them in their labs at work. It was a really neat experience. http://www.assureimmune.com I would recommend at least touring their facility since it it right here. At least you'll have a better understand on the process in general and you'll be able to speak to a person face to face who should be able to answer your questions about research and it possibilities for use. These decisions are always hard, but you'll make the right decision for your family.
