  Does anyone know where a good place to start trying to determine the value of several lanterns and old advertisement s would be? We inherited these when my FIL passed away. We want to keep a few, sell a few, and donate a few. Does anyone know of a museum that would be interested? The ads are aall T&P, the lanterns are several different companies. TIA

  The Williams House Museum, De Kalb, is in an T & P Railroad Section House, built in 1886. They are working to expand a room dedicated to the railroad and the people that worked on the lines. They are in need of memoriblia. Unfortunately, the railroad was taken up several years ago. You can call 903-277-9022 for more information.
