About us
At Gemma's Groom Room we always treat your dog with the same care and attention with which we treat our own pets, and in accordance with the Animal Welfare Act 2006.
You can book your dog in for a full groom which includes a
pre-groom to remove any small knots/matted areas, dirt and debris, bathing using shampoo to suit your dog's requirements, drying, clipping and scissoring, nail clipping, ear cleaning.
Alternatively we offer stand alone bath and dry/ nail clipping/ foot tidy.
Gemma is also qualified in micro-chipping. This service is offered for dogs, cats and rabbits and appointments are made for when no dogs are present in the salon to ensure that the procedure can be carried out in a stress free environment.
About Gemma:
Gemma has always loved animals and wanted to work with them from a young age. She enjoyed working for a year as a nursing assistant at Grange Hill Veterinary Centre. As well as her City&Guilds qualification in Dog Grooming she holds diplomas in Veterinary Support and Animal Care. Gemma's own dog, a Japanese Spitz, plays a big role in her life, from dog showing to dog agility. Her other main interest is riding and she is loving her British Horse Society training. Her ambition is to own her own horse.
