  URGENT NEED ~~ THIS WEEK Looking at these two kitties you would never guess that they are hurting, but they are. They are matted and both are in need of professional grooming right away. Our regular groomers that do this for SFOF (for free) are all booked up for a while. Do you know a groomer in the Salem/Keizer area that can help these two or at least the worst one as early as possible this week? Can they do it for free or low cost? Can anyone donate to a grooming fund if we can't find a groomer for free? We would like to find some groomers willing to help on a regular basis for free/low cost. :o) Some of the kitties that we rescue or take in are in serious need of help.   @Lisa, I agree that anyone that uses scissors should be very careful. Owners shouldn't try it on their own, experienced groomers like Nicole are a lot more skilled than the general public. I too am a vet tech and have seen a lot of owners slice up their pet on accident.
