  Darn. I had the PERFECT doctor until you mentioned Medicaid:( We LOVED our dr at Baylor Carrollton, but we moved. She set the bar very high for us, so finding a new dr we like even half as much will be difficult. www.doctorstuart.net is her website, just in case. ~Brenda

  Not CD related but I thought some of you might have ideas.. We currently use Healthy Kids Pediatrics in Frisco but we're not really loving it.. We are looking for a pediatrician who is similar in nature (open to homeopathic, alternative vax, etc) but that doesn't have an impossible schedule and you don't feel rushed every time you go. I know of the guy in McKinney but he doesn't take any insurance :( Help?

  I LOVE our dr, in Carrollton at Baylor Trinity. Dr. Cynthia Stuart (http://www.doctorstuart.net/). She's a DO (and a family doc), but the best we've seen. She actaully listens, never rushes an appt, and is just all around awesome. We follow a normal vax scedule, but she did at one point (when we were new) ask if we did alt vax shedule, so she might be open to it (I've never asked). She LOVES E's cloth diapers. Supportive of extended BFing (I BFd E until we were forced to wean at 17 months). I'm also not sure about how much homeopathic she does, we rarely visit the dr (mostly ear infections and well visits), but she has suggested natural remedies for allergies (such as local honey rather than meds for us). But she's always been very open to my semi-"crunchy" parenting style (I prefer natural remedies first, but for the boys frequent ear infections meds do work the best). HTH:) ~Brenda
