  My cousin stayed at Abbey Lodge and said it was lovely. Also the Spread Eagle on Wilbraham Rd do B+B and there is a Travel Lodge opposite Southern Cemetery called Christie Fields.

  Hi Manchester, a lovely friend from a different country has sent me this message so I thought I'd post it here so the great people of Manchester could help?... My mum, me and my sister are coming to Manchester on the 28th/29th Aug to see countdown being recorded... life long dream of mine! as you are local can you recommend some where nice to stay? and maybe some advice on public transport (is it easy to get into the centre?? .... I assume cheaper hotels will be outside the centre). advice much appreciated xx
