Looking for a good restaurant for someone with Celiac? I have friends coming into town on Tuesday morning and I'd like to take them to brunch but one of them has Celiac, any good recommendations for a brunch place for someone with Celiac?

I've been looking as well as I know a bunch of people with celiac. These are the most useful resources I've found. https://www.facebook.com/Gluten-Free-Eating-Out-in-Kingston-Ontario-166873376724730/?ref=hlhttp://www.kingstonceliac.ca/gluten%20 free%20 restaurantsin%20 kingston.html I've also heard that Windmills can accommodate gluten free patrons and they do have a brunch menu. http://www.windmills-cafe.com/ Hope that helps.

The following places offer gluten free that I've used:
- Windmills (super super accommodating)
- Harper's (great bun but depending on the wetness of the burger toppings, it may fall apart)
- Iron Duke on Wellington (though it's a pub they are incredibly flexible, and offer gluten free buns and wraps),
- Specifically for brunch -> Geneva does gluten free crepes (buckwheat, it's deliiiicious).
Of all the food allergies, celiac/gluten is the one most easily accommodated to in the city. Cross-contamination is a mild risk at any restaurant, though if they know you have celiac they will obviously do everything they can. I am sure your friend realizes this.
Pick a few restaurants that interest you, call ahead to make sure they'll be able to accommodate you, and you should be good. Most restaurants will happily help!
Can anyone recommend a good place to go to eat in Kingston?

Hello Vibeke, I would recommend Windmills or the Sleepless Goat. Both are located right downtown and offer different vegetarian and vegan options. http://www.windmills-cafe.com/
Hi. Just found you today! I live in Brighton, ON but I'm coming to Kingston in mid-Feb for the Hars Kingston winter formal. Can anyone recommend some good places to get a vegan meal?
