  6 puppies were just brought to (dumped at) The Haven today. They came in from the breeder with no financial support,( yes, I gave him the phone number for the low cost spay/neuter clinic). All 6 are now vaccinated, dewormed, and de-flead and 4 are still in need of 3 weeks of foster care.(Thanks go to our new volunteer, Chauntae, for fostering the 2 older pups.) Each needs a Dollar a Day sponsor and we are hoping that someone will step up to foster them for a couple weeks.

  I am really struggling to post new arrivals..I wrote a message, then entered photo then photo album then uploaded pictures of some of our new arrivals, which are now in our photos, but the message post was deleted....can someone visit The Haven and give me a face book lesson? It makes me crazy to spend so much time creating posts and then have issues uploading them. I have complained to Century Link and they say its not their problem, I have adequate speed for a high speed hook up....I don't have trouble adding pictures to emails, just to face book....any suggestions?   LOOKING FOR ONE VOLUNTEER WITH ONE JALOPY (OR TRUCK OR TRAILER OR ...) to PICK UP and DELIVER 15-25 bales to the Haven on or before Friday. Can anyone pick up 15-25 bales from Aberdeen Supply (in Aberdeen NC near the intersection of NC 5 and US 1) Wed, Thurs or Fri this week? (Aberdeen Supply is open 8-5 except Wed, which is 8-12). Please post here if you can help. We also need a few people to help put straw in barrels as the temps are dropping soon. Please rally your friends, family, colleagues, teammates, etc... and pledge to help. Thanks! - kara

  Paula, thanks so much! Aberdeen Supply will load up and I'll give Linden a heads up that you will likely show up at the Haven around 9:54-ish. She will designate help to unload the vehicle in a certain spot. Also, just in case there are any issues, her number is 910 875-6768. I'll give her a call tomorrow to let her know you'll be there and will also give Aberdeen Supply a heads up. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
