Hi. I'm retuning to the gym after a long break (8years!) and some chronic health issues and would appreciate some advice. During my absence I gained three and half stone (approx 50lbs and I've lost all but 10lbs of it in the past 18 months. I'm 49 and have the usual joint aches that age and an active life brings. I also have bronchiectasis, asthma and fibro myalgia. None of which limit me when controlled.
My question is this, I know that I can't restart where I left off (that would probably do me in
