  Elizabeth Foster We just had our home tested for Radon and our results came back extremely high along with a few other neighbors who had theirs tested. Is there anyone that installs the fan and actually knows about it? One neighbor tested so high they had to have two installed.

  We had to do this when my parents sold their house in Huntingtown two years ago. The gentlemen we used does a lot of work in Calvert. At that time, the prices paid/quoted to us to have the system installed was $900 if there is gravel under the concrete slab and $1,300 if not - it took about 4-6 weeks to schedule the work. We used John Swett of Radon Abatement Services in Chevy Chase, MD. The numbers listed on his card are 301-718-6200 (office maybe) and 202-213-6200 mobile. Great guy to work with and they did a great job.
