  Did you know that 2 cats and all their offspring can create over 420,000 cats in just 7 years? Cat adoptions are slow in our area and too many cute babies are euthanized. We need to continue reducing the number of unwanted, feral cats by trapping, neutering and returning. It's humane, helpful and you can hear all about it or find ways you can help by attending. One of our vets, Dr. Sandy Cochran, will be speaking Monday, April 1 from 6:30-7:30 at the Dorothy H O'Connor Pet Adoption Center's Education Building. Victoria TNR ~ Trap Neuter and Return for Feral and Free Roaming Cats helps Victoria area residents and other counties as well! Adopt A Pet offers spay/neuter at low-cost if you have a pet that needs to be done. 361.575.7387, but this group has helped our community so much with cat colonies and feral cats....come learn more and get involved! Either way, you want to get them done soon before you are trying in vain to find homes for them. You would not believe how many are euthanized in our county. They reproduce so fast that you'll spend way more feeding them than in a single surgery.

  now is best time. Lowers cancer risks, eliminates heat cycles and prevents unwanted litters. We can definitely help you. Any pet that is spayed/neutered can come to our low-cost clinic for shots or vet exams. Call 361.575.7387 and let them know you're interested in shots, spaying.
