  James and Williams Jewelers (http://www.jwjewelers.com) in Berwyn, IL. Got my wife's engagement ring, wedding gift (mikimoto pearls) and wedding bands here. Incredibly nice friendly owned business. I went here for the engagement ring because they list (some of) their inventory and prices online which meant I knew what I wanted to look at before going in so there wouldn't be as much pressure. It turned out that they were nice and not pushy though so I kept coming back for all the other wedding necessities. It may be further than you were hoping to go but I thought I'd let you know about them.

  Kristy Shehan Jewelry Repair...?? I've lost FIVE baguette-cut diamonds out of my engagement ring. I have tried to get it repaired with many saying it couldn't be repaired. I found one lady, she said $400...I would like it repaired with either CZ's or glass so it will not be so much. She wouldn't replace it with those, only real diamonds.   Talk to Shannon at JW Jewelers, (410) 535-1050. Call to see when she will be there. She is wonderful. Her brothers, Henry & Byron, are the Jewelers. They are honest folk. Might be a reason it can't be done.
