  Hannah Jones I am wondering where I do go to have my car seat properly hooked in to my car? A year ago we went to the Fire Dept. They helped us hook it in properly with no problems. Now they are not certified to do it they said. They sent us to the Police Dept. who does not have time to do it they say ;( My son whom is 1 has out grown his old one, and I am not feeling safe with how Ive got the bigger carseat hooked into my vehicle.   Tech are available in st Mary's as well. Try medstar healtg connections 3014756019 for appt. Town of la plata police do appointment 3019341500. The health dept at calvert might have a tech also. Msp and st. Marys sheriffs have techs but often on patrol. Best practices is rear facing to age 2 and max wgt of rear facing convertible seat.
