About us

Hi music lovers
We're THE MINDBENDERS from Derry/Donegal.
The band started as a 2 piece way back around 1988 & was formed with Paul Curran on bass/vocals & Gerry Coyle on guitar/vocals, but got the name from former "Something Else" band member & all round mad man Eugene Roddy on drums/vocals.
Paul & Gerry played as a 2 piece for many years but missed the buzz & groove of a live band, so they brought in Brian Curran Keys/vocals & Don Ponsonby Drums/vocals. The former drummer, a guy called Roland Arfive, still makes the odd appearance though, with his good friend B. King Track on keys!
The live band line up now is usually Paul,Gerry,Don & Ali Skeggs on keyboards/vocals.
