  I need some advice. I am a service connected disabled veteran. My spouse abandoned me, for reasons unknown. I am a PTSD related service connected vet. The VA referred me to legal aid & legal aid stated I make $300 to much to be eligible for legal AIDS assistance. I need some help desperately. Please does anyone have some advise that will help me. I am barely making it on my income as it is now & to add lawyer fees would break me & I'd loose my place I live. I know there has to be someone out there who can help me. If anyone knows where I can find some help, please contact me asap I went to hood county clerks office today & they won't even tell you where to find filing papers nor would they offer any advise whatsoever. I'm begging for some help please.

  You need to call Tami Rich Barker at 254-965-1443. She is #1 when it comes to your benefits. Also, you need to check out Texas Lawyers for Texas Vets. At www.txltv.org. There is also Texas Veterans Legal Services Center. Www.tlsc.org. All the above are 100% free to disabled vets.
