Does anyone know anything about boy scouts. I wanna put my boys in boy scouts. Where is the place to sign them up at?
Charles I. replied:
Your best bet is to go to scouting.org and select find a unit. Cub Scouts is for boys 1-5 grade and Boy Scouts is for 5 th grade or 11 years old and up to 18 years of age. Scoutmaster Troop 416
This is not quite a uniform thing but does anyone know where I can get a boy scout quilt or even the fabric? I would like to start one to put badges on. Any help is great thanks

Scout shop or scouting.org also sells pre-made scout blankets with insignias made just for this purpose.
Shanon Hole asked, "Can anyone recommend a 'Consumer math' program? It's time to teach real-life math...how to balance checkbook, taxes, credit, debt... You know, REAL stuff. Thanks!"

Check out Personal Management through Boy Scouts of America. http://www.meritbadge.org/wiki/index.php/Personal_Management , this is a link for the free workbook and the handbook can be purchased for under $5 at a local scout shop or online at scouting.org. My son really enjoyed doing this and reading through it with him I learned a lot of information as well. Wonderful handbooks for over 100 topics. You don't have to be a scout to enjoy it either. Hope it helps.
Happy to have stumbled upon this site!! unfortunately our pack (261 West Hempfield) is disbanding..I am looking for a new pack that is well established with strong leadership and solid numbers, who would welcome us. My son is a wolf this year and wants to continue on.. we were part of the Bushy Run district.. I am curious where most of the Laurel Hills Distict events are held?? for example where do you have day camp? and do you have your pinewood derby at Westmoreland mall?? any info would be greatly appreciated.. THANKS!!

We're glad you're here! Your best bet would be to call the office at 724-837-1630 and Tim would be happy to discuss this with you!
