About us
Chainey Briar Stables LLC is a unique boarding stable in that we are a grain-free, barefoot barn. Healthy horses are what we are all about, and we keep looking for ways to improve the quality of life for the horses in our care.
With many years of research in equine nutrition, we came across a feed product that is unlike any other. CoolStance coconut copra, which means responsible equine nutrition to us. CoolStance is suitable for all horses, ponies, donkeys, and mules and is an excellent source of fiber and medium-chain triglycerides for those horses with metabolic challenges such as insulin resistance, tying up, EPSM, etc. because it is low in sugar and starch but provides high digestible, cool energy.
CoolStance has been around for more than 25 years in Australia and the UK. It became available to the US in 2011 and we are proud to be the first retailer and boarding facility to offer it to our barn and the surrounding areas.
