#SIArecommendations
Hi all,
Can anyone help?
Where should I go to buy a black blazer locally, I want it for remembrance Sundays from now on so will need a blazer badge sewn on and possibly the buttons changed?

Stewart I doubt if Burtons will sew the badge or change the buttons but they might? Anyway, I thought the military once taught soldiers to sew and even issued 'hussif' sewing kits? Seriously,if you want a professional seamstress then the sewing lady based in Union Street would easily be able to do it. But I'd strongly recommend that you choose a mid to fairly heavy weight material ( wool/tweed mix) if you are using brass or heavier buttons as a lighter weight fabric may will sag under the weight - and maybe a jacket with a breast pocket for the badge but that's possibly less of an issue? Other than that you could go to a bespoke military tailors ( some online like: http://www.gloverridingtailors.co.uk/id3.html Bulford? Imagine they are v expensive though! )
