A bit of a trek from your area but Raymond Blanc's Le Manoir is exceptional http://www.belmond.com/le-manoir-aux-quat-saisons-oxfordshire/
#JournalistRequest I am seeking recommendation for a non-London, UK restaurant which is worth sporting glad rags for, please.
