  submitted by Ray Palmer This is my grandfather, Ted Palmer, who lived in Cardiff and for most of his life was a grocer in Cowbridge Road East. Does anybody know what the chain of office represents? It might relate to the grocery trade, or to a business organisation, or even to Freemasonry. I would guess the photo was taken around the 1930s - 40s.
