  I have a old mattress I need to dump . Is there a company that picks them up? Or where do I drop them off ?

  Bulk trash is collected by appointment only. The program runs annually from early April through early October. Please call the Department of Public Works office for specific dates as well as to schedule an appointment: (732)938-4500 ext 2450. The bulk trash collection program is for household items such as: furniture, carpet, appliances and electronics. We do not accept construction debris, hazardous waste, car parts, tires, concrete, brick or any recyclable items. Bulk pick-up is limited to one pick-up truck load per appointment. (TS)

  Very cold out this morning bundle up. Any updates from the rabies clinic? I've noticed in the past some organization is needed for parking and not lining up in the driveway but the lines do move rather quickly and we have a great group of pet owners in the area and everyone entertains each other in line.

  I am not 100% if you have to be a resident but I'm sure it's open to anyone as long as you have the proper info. SATURDAY, JANUARY 31, 2015 9:00AM TO 12:00PM If you need to update your rabies shot for the licensing year 2015, take advantage of the free rabies clinic, so you do not run into a problem with licensing your dog in January 2015. The rabies shot must be current through December 1, 2015, unless it’s a one year vaccine. The State of New Jersey requires shots be current two months before the expiration date of the license. All dogs must be on a short leash. Please bring previous rabies certificate. All cats must be in a suitable cat carrier. One cat to a carrier. Please refrain from bringing strollers and children. ADULTS will handle their own dogs/cats, not children. Howell Township is not responsible for animals escaping. The above dates are subject to change.
