  Hi Canberra mums. Am in need of referrals to a good gastroenterologist please. Would prefer public but if a particular private dr is better then will find a way to pay for it. Looking for someone who is an expert in surgery and wonderful bedside manner. Really appreciate your recommendations please :)

  Dr Mike Corbett at the Brindabella Specialist centre (http://gastrotract.com.au/dr-mike-corbett/). He is private but he can refer you to have tests done publicly (as can other private specialists) (i had a gastroscopy and colonoscopy done through the public system so it didn't cost me). he was really down to earth and understanding. good luck x

  Post anon please. I am looking to get my mum to a gastro specialist ASAP as she is in extreme pain every time she eats and i feaR the worse. She has an appt in feb with someone but I want her seen as an emerg as soon as next week. Any gastro specialists details much appreciated please. She does have private cover. tia
