  Hi CM, We are new in Canberra, but due to a family emergency we are looking for short term day care for our children (8 months and 2 and a half) we need it from Tuesday for a week or two. (Not weekend) I was wondering if anyone knows of a child care centre or similar that could offer this. If we need to go for family day care what qualifications or registration should we be looking for? Thanks.

  Ring around day care centre's close to you as they can have casual days. If you're near Barton, my son's Centre has spots I think, give them a call (02) 6273 5080
