Tried Theraband and other exercises but nothing helps. I think I need to see a good PT so they could recommend a program. Anyone know someone who you'd vouch for?

But, the gist is that they utilize a system of treatment focused on relieving the fascia that causes a lot of chronic pain. It's almost like a deep tissue massage with occasional adjustments. They look to pinpoint the cause of the pain, and if they discover it's not muscular or mayo-fascial, they will refer you to someone who can fully diagnose you. In my case, I didn't get better after 6 treatments, so they sent me out for an MRI. The MRI revealed a labral tear (a tear in the labrum of my right hip, which is the soft tissue in your hip socket). Turns out I needed an ortho surgeon to not only repair that tear (which was the source of my pain) but to also take care of some other issues with that hip. I had surgery in June, which fixed it. I say all of this because I was convinced this was simply muscular (and it was chronic pain that started affecting my sleep), and it wasn't. Rather than just dismissing my pain, they took action.
